A few weeks back the Board met to discuss how to make up the projected shortfall that due to Covid – 19 was eminent in 2020. Along with most other non-profit and service organizations, our inability to host fundraisers posed a new and challenging problem. Numerous ideas were discussed, with the board finally deciding upon simply asking our friends and neighbors to contribute to this good cause. With fifteen board members, we each reached out to those we knew in the community and thanks to your generosity our goal of $30,000 was reached.
With a still uncertain future, we will continue to reach out, asking you to help us ensure that no one in this community that needs a meal goes without one. But we want to pause and thank you for your generous gift and from the heart that gave it. We live in a wonderful, caring community, and we are honored at the way in which you responded to this need.

The Hendersonville Home Bound Meals Board
